Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Il Moggio shows a brilliant golden yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of apple, pear and hazelnut followed
by aromas of citrus fruits, hawthorn, pineapple, broom, plum and vanilla.
The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is
persistent with flavors of apple. plum and hazelnut. Il Moggio ages in
barrique followed by 4-6 months of aging in bottle.
