Molamatta shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of greenish
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of pear, apple and plum followed by
aromas of hawthorn, broom, pineapple, almond, peach and vanilla. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent
with flavors of apple, plum and pear. A well made wine. The Pinot Blanc
used for the production of Collio Bianco Molamatta ferments in barrique.
