Maximo 2003
(Marches)
Sauvignon Blanc
|
Sweet Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Maximo shows a brilliant amber yellow color and nuances of amber yellow,
transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
which start with hints of dried apricot, honey and almond followed by
aromas of dried fig, peach jam, candied fruit, litchi, melon, citrus fruit
peel, pear and nail polish. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose,
a sweet attack and pleasing crispness, however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of
dried apricot, melon and honey. Maximo is produced with grapes affected by
Botrytis Cinerea (noble rot) and ages in steel tanks. |
