Roero Arneis Gianat 2005
Roero (Piedmont)
This Roero Arneis shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of pear, apple and hazelnut followed
by aromas of plum, grapefruit, vanilla, lemon balm, hawthorn and beeswax.
The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent
with flavors of apple, hazelnut and plum. Roero Arneis Gianat ages for 8
months in barrique followed by 1 month of aging in bottle.
