Tellus 2005
(Latium)
Merlot (50%), Syrah (50%)
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
The wine shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little
transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
that start with hints of plum, black cherry and black currant followed by
aromas of blueberry, raspberry, violet and carob. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors
of black cherry and blueberry. The Syrah used for the production of Tellus
ages for one month in barrique whereas the Merlot ages in steel tanks.
