Soave Classico Monte Alto 2005
Soave (Veneto)
Garganega
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
Soave Classico Monte Alto shows a brilliant golden yellow color and nuances
of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of apple, plum and almond
followed by aromas of citrus fruits, pineapple, broom, hawthorn, medlar,
pear, honey, grapefruit and vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple,
plum and almond. A well made wine. Soave Classico Monte Alto ages for about
8 months in barrique.
