Colli di Imola (Emilia-Romagna)
Chardonnay

Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Colli di Imola Chardonnay Ciardo shows a pale golden yellow color and
nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of apple, banana and
acacia followed by aromas of pineapple, hawthorn, grapefruit, vanilla, plum
and pear. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
smoothness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, banana and
plum. A half part of Colli di Imola Chardonnay Ciardo ages in barrique. |
