The wine shows a brilliant garnet red and nuances of orange/brick red, moderate transparency. The nose reveals personality with clean, intense, pleasing and very elegant aromas of cherry, violet, strawberry jam, raspberry jam, blackberry jam, plum and toffee followed by good aromas of caramel, leather, tobacco and vanilla. In mouth denotes good correspondence to the nose, a slightly alcoholic attack well balanced by tannins, intense flavors and full body, very elegant. The finish is persistent with clean flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. A well made wine. Favot ages in barrique for 16 months.
