Colli Tortonesi (Piedmont)
Timorasso
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Colli Tortonesi Timorasso Morasso shows an intense golden yellow color and
nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of apple, plum and
citrus fruits followed by aromas of toasted wood, hawthorn, hazelnut,
vanilla and praline. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, citrus
fruits and hazelnut. Colli Tortonesi Timorasso Morasso ages for 8 months in
barrique followed by 6 months of aging in steel tanks. |
