Pecorino Vellodoro shows a brilliant greenish yellow color and nuances of
greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean and
pleasing aromas which start with hints of pear, peach and pineapple
followed by aromas of apple, hawthorn, broom and mineral. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors
of apple, pear and pineapple. Pecorino Vellodoro ages for 4 months in steel
tanks. |

Ho assaggiato questo bel bianco in occasione delle mie vacanze al mare. Una sera a cena in un ristorante a San Benedetto del Tronto ho trovato questo vino nella carta e l'ho provato accompagnato a una bella frittura di pesce.
Fresco, immediato e davvero piacevole, perfetto per la frittura. E' la prima volta che assaggio il Pecorino dopo averne sentito parlare a lungo e questo vino non ha deluso le mie aspettative. Piacevole sensazione di frutta sia al naso che in bocca.
