Collina d'Oro 2005
(Umbria)
Moscato Giallo
|
Sweet Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Collina d'Oro shows a brilliant amber yellow color and nuances of golden
yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas which start with hints of raisin, dried fig and almond followed by
aromas of dried apricot, peach jam, vanilla, honey and lavender. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a sweet and round attack, however
balanced by alcohol, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with
flavors of raisin, dried fig and dried apricot. Collina d'Oro ages for 12
months in barrique. |
