Primitivo di Manduria Sessantanni 2005
Primitivo di Manduria (Apulia)
Primitivo

Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
Primitivo di Manduria Sessantanni shows a deep ruby red color and nuances
of purple red, impenetrable to light. The nose reveals intense, clean,
pleasing, refined and elegant aromas that start with hints of blackberry,
black cherry and star anise followed by aromas of violet, plum, vanilla,
strawberry, blueberry, tobacco, chocolate, cinnamon and menthol. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced
by alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of blackberry, plum and black cherry. Primitivo di
Manduria Sessantanni ages for 6 months in barrique. |
