Dolcetto d'Alba (Piedmont) Dolcetto d'Alba La Serra shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of purple red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and blackberry followed by aromas of violet, raspberry, blueberry and strawberry. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and blackberry. Dolcetto d'Alba La Serra ages for 11 months in steel tanks.
