Barbacane 2007
(Umbria)
Malvasia Bianca, Grechetto
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✭ |
Barbacane shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of straw yellow, very
transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas which
start with hints of apple, plum and pear followed by aromas of hawthorn,
hazelnut and peach. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The
finish is pretty persistent with flavors of plum and apple. Barbacane ages
in steel tanks. |
