Franciacorta Brut Rosé shows a brilliant onion skin pink and onion skin
pink, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals
intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of
cherry, raspberry and bread crust followed by aromas of banana, hawthorn,
apple, yeast and plum. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an
effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors
of cherry, raspberry and plum. A part of the Chardonnay used for the
production of this Franciacorta Brut Rosé ages in barrique. It referments
in bottle on its lees for at least 25 months. |
