Barbera d'Alba San Quirico 2006
Barbera d'Alba (Piedmont)
Barbera d'Alba San Quirico shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of
ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and
pleasing aromas that start with hints of cherry, blackberry and violet
followed by aromas of blueberry, plum, vanilla and menthol. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The
finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum. Barbera
d'Alba San Quirico ages for about 12 months in cask followed by about 6
months of aging in bottle. |
