Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Langhe Rosso Pian del Lupo shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of
ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing
and refined aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and violet
followed by aromas of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, vanilla, cinnamon,
cocoa and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and
blueberry. Langhe Rosso Pian del Lupo ages for 12 months in barrique and
for 12 months in bottle. |
