Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Brut Bareta shows an intense greenish yellow
color and nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent
perlage. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas that
start with hints of apple, plum and hawthorn followed by aromas of
wistaria, broom, banana and pear. The mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good
body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of
apple, pear and plum. Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Brut Bareta ferments in
tank of 60 days. |

Come Prosecco di Valdobbiadene, trovo questa declinazione di Merotto un po' "fuori dalle righe", nel senso che è forse un po' troppo secco, almeno per i miei gusti.
Manca infatti quella nota "dolciastra" che è praticamente tipica di ogni Prosecco, ma comunque si tratta di un vino decisamente piacevole, forse spiazza un po' per questo suo carattere secco.
