Trebbiano Spoletino
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
This Trebbiano Spoletino shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of
greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of plum, hawthorn and
citrus fruits followed by aromas of apple, pineapple, broom and pear. The
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors. The finish is persistent
with flavors of apple, plum and pear. This Trebbiano Spoletino ages in
steel tanks for 4 months. |

Completely new to this grape as well as to this italian winery, when I found this wine I remembered I read something in diwinetaste.
Bright pale yellow color, just like most of white wines. Interesting nose of lemon, tropical fruits and notes of pear.
Refreshing mouth with balanced acidity, not so long in the finish.
