Colli Orientali del Friuli Pinot Grigio shows a pale straw yellow color and
nuances of coppery yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of apple, banana
and pear followed by aromas of pineapple, peach, hawthorn, broom, acacia
and plum. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, peach and
pineapple. Colli Orientali del Friuli Pinot Grigio ages for 6 months in
steel tanks followed by 2 months of aging in bottle. |

One of the best things I appreciated in this wine is color: a lovely golden yellow with shades of bronze, truly appealing.
The nose is not anything less, fruits and flowers with an extraordinary fresh bouquet, truly elegant. Taste is also very good, refreshing and very well balanced. Very long finish. A remarkable white wine.
