Colli Orientali del Friuli Friulano shows a brilliant straw yellow color
and nuances of greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of apple, plum and
peach followed by aromas of pineapple, pear, citrus fruits, broom,
hawthorn and almond. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, pear
and pineapple. Colli Orientali del Friuli Friulano ages for 6 months in
steel tanks followed by 2 months of aging in bottle. |

Fa un certo effetto non vedere più "Tocai" scritto nell'etichetta, ma il vino è sempre ottimo. Bella veste brillante e scintillante di giallo pallido con chiare sfumature verdoline. Al naso emerge la mandorla e piacevolissimi toni esotici su cui spicca l'ananas. Ci troviamo anche la pesca e piacevoli effluvi di agrumi.
Bocca fresca e piacevolissima con un equilibrio davvero convincente. Buono il finale con il caratteristico sapore di mandorla.
