Colli Orientali del Friuli Bianco Illivio shows a brilliant straw yellow
color and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes
intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of
apple, banana and plum followed by aromas of hawthorn, pear, hazelnut,
grapefruit, honey, vanilla and mineral. The mouth has good correspondence
to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors
of apple, plum and banana. Colli Orientali del Friuli Bianco Illivio ages
for 10 months in barrique followed by 9 months of aging in bottle. |
