Il Rogito shows a pale ruby red color and nuances of cherry pink,
transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
that start with hints of cherry, raspberry and plum followed by aromas of
blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, cyclamen, rose and vanilla. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of cherry, raspberry and blackberry. Il Rogito ages
for 12 months in cask. |

A mio avviso questo è il migliore vino rosato d'Italia, o quanto meno, quello riuscito meglio rispetto ai tanti esempi che si trovano sparsi nella nostra penisola con risultati deludenti. Si può obiettare che il Rogito passi in legno e che lo snaturi un po', invece è l'elemento che lo rende unico e grande, in tutti i sensi. Del resto l'Aglianico è grande uva che da grandi vini e questo non fa eccezione.
Il colore è davvero suadente e affascinante, un rosa intenso e pieno, probabilmente anche a causa del lavoro svolto dal legno. Ma è il naso quello che colpisce maggiormente per i profumi decisamente di piccoli frutti di bosco (ciliegia, fragolina, lampone) sapientemente intrecciati dalle tessiture del legno nobile, mai opprimente.
Se a un vino rosato si chiede freschezza e immediatezza, il Rogito offre tutto questo oltre a quella morbidezza che invita a riempire il calice continuamente, lasciando in bocca bellissime note di ciliegia e fragola, molto precise, molto pulite. E che dire della persistenza? Lunga ma non lunghissima, ma certamente pregevole e di tutto rispetto. Ce ne fossero di vini rosati come questi!
