La Stipula Rosé Brut Metodo Classico 2006
(Basilicata)

Sparkling Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
La Stipula shows a brilliant pink salmon color and nuances of cherry pink,
fine and persistent perlage, very transparent. The nose reveals intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of cherry,
raspberry and blueberry followed by aromas of blackberry, strawberry, plum,
cyclamen and yeast. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, an
effervescent and crisp attack, however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of
cherry, raspberry and strawberry. The base wine ages in barrique for 7
months and referments in bottle on its lees for 12 months. |
