Chianti Classico (Tuscany)
Sangiovese (90%) Colorino, Canaiolo (10%)
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
This Chianti Classico Riserva shows an intense ruby red color and nuances
of ruby red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing
and refined aromas which start with hints of plum, black cherry and violet
followed by aromas of blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, tobacco, licorice,
cocoa, cinnamon and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, a tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry,
plum and blueberry. This Chianti Classico Riserva ages for 18 months in
cask. |

This superb Chianti has a deep ruby red and ruby red reflections with a bouquet of red and black fruits as well as chocolate, toast and vanilla. Very long persistence, intense, developing spices and wild herbs. Balanced tannins and alcohol.
