Calanica Rosso Frappato e Syrah shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of cherry, plum and black currant followed by aromas of violet, raspberry, blueberry and rose. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, raspberry and plum. Calanica Rosso Frappato e Syrah ages for 12 months in cement tanks followed by 4 months of aging in bottle.
