Bellis Perennis 2009
(Piedmont)
Pelaverga Piccolo
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧ |
Bellis Perennis shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing
aromas which start with hints of apple, peach and pear followed by aromas
of hawthorn, broom and plum. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose,
a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, plum
and peach. Bellis Perennis is produced with Pelaverga grape vinified in
white and ages for 6 months in steel tanks. |
