(Trentino) Poiema shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, little transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of cherry, plum and blackberry followed by aromas of geranium, violet, black currant, raspberry, pomegranate, pink pepper and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and blackberry. Poiema ages for 12 months in oak, cherry wood and chestnut wood casks.

Non facile trovare i vini di Eugenio Rosi, viticoltore di razza con idee ben precise sul suo modo di vedere i vini e il marzemino.
E il Poiema è un esempio maestoso di cosa può regalare il marzemino in un calice, molto lontano da quei tanti vini rossi fatti con quest'uva che passano quasi inosservati per la loro semplicità. Qui invece è un trionfo di perfezione, dal naso all'ultima goccia nel calice, con potenza espressiva che si trova solo nei grandi.
Vibrante davvero, emozionante come pochi, il sorso si espande in bocca e guida la sequenza dei sapori come un romanzo avvincente, pagina dopo pagina. Un esempio magistrale di rara classe enologica che fa scoprire il vero carattere del marzemino.
