(Trentino) Poiema shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of cherry, blackberry and plum followed by aromas of raspberry, pomegranate, geranium, violet, pink pepper, blueberry, cyclamen and hints of vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, blackberry and plum. Poiema ages for 12 months in oak, chestnut and cherry wood casks.
