Gemella shows a brilliant greenish yellow and nuances of greenish yellow,
very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined
aromas which start with hints of gooseberry, peach and pear followed by
aromas of apple, pineapple, lychee, broom, nettle and elder flower. The
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is
persistent with flavors of peach, pineapple and gooseberry. Gemella ages in
steel tanks. |

Che piacevole sorpresa! Non credevo che nella "calda" Toscana producevano un sauvignon così. Ci metti il naso dentro e sogni la valle della Loira. Ma non quei vini che sanno di erbaceo, ma di bella espressione fruttosa e fresca. Bella anche l'acidità in bocca, di vero carattere.
Da bere e ribere in continuazione.
