Collio Malvasia 2010
Collio (Friuli-Venezia Giulia)
Malvasia Istriana
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Collio Malvasia shows an intense straw yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of apple, hazelnut and apricot
followed by aromas of banana, citrus fruit, hawthorn, broom, pear and
praline. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, apricot and
hazelnut. A part of Collio Malvasia ages for 5 months in cask. |
