Il Padrone delle Vigne 2010
(Umbria)
Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧ |
Il Padrone delle Vigne shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby
red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and blueberry
followed by aromas of blackberry, violet, black currant and pomegranate.
The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a slightly tannic attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, plum and
blueberry. Il Padrone delle Vigne ages for one month in cask followed by 3
months of aging in steel tanks. |
