(Basilicata)
Aglianico

Sparkling Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
La Stipula Extra Brut Metodo Classico shows an intense straw yellow color
and nuances of straw yellow, very transparent, fine and persistent perlage.
The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start
with hints of apple, bread crust and hawthorn followed by aromas of pear,
plum, praline, chamomile, hazelnut, honey and citrus fruits. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, an effervescent and crisp attack, however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The
finish is persistent with flavors of apple, plum and hazelnut. The base
wine for La Stipula Extra Brut Metodo Classico in aged for 2 months in
barrique and referments in bottle for 13 months. |
