Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Rosso Piceno Superiore Le Torri shows an intense ruby red color and nuances
of garnet red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of plum, black cherry
and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, vanilla, tobacco, chocolate,
mace and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a tannic
attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum, black
cherry and blueberry. Rosso Piceno Superiore Le Torri ages in cask for 16
months followed by 4 months of aging in bottle. |
