Sangiovese (80%), Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot (20%)

Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✭ |
Mandriolo shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red,
moderate transparency. The nose denotes clean and pleasing aromas which
start with hints of cherry, raspberry and blueberry followed by aromas of
plum, geranium and rose. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a
slightly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is pretty persistent with flavors
of cherry and raspberry. Mandriolo ages in cement tanks. |
