Score: ✧✧✧ |
This wine shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red,
moderate transparency. The nose reveals intense, clean and pleasing aromas
which start with cherry and plum followed by blueberry, black cherry,
violet and a hint of toasted wood. In the mouth has good correspondence to
the nose, a pleasing crisp attack however balanced, good tannins, good
body and intense flavors. The finish is persistent with flavors of plum
and raspberry. Sang des Salasses ages for 3 months in steel tanks, for 9
months in barrique and 1 month in bottle.
