Menfi Merlot Azimut shows an intense ruby red color and nuances of garnet
red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of black cherry, black currant and
plum followed by aromas of blueberry, violet, vanilla, chocolate,
eucalyptus and mace. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a
properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense
flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black
cherry, black currant and plum. Half of Menfi Merlot Azimut ages in cask
for 12 months. |
