Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Marsala Superiore Riserva Targa Riserva 1840 shows an intense amber yellow
color and nuances of amber yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas that start with hints of dried fig,
rancho and almond followed by aromas of honey, vanilla, orange peel, honey,
rhubarb, date, leather and nail polish. The mouth has good correspondence
to the nose, a round attack with a pleasing sweetness, however balanced by
alcohol, full body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of dried fig, almond and honey. Marsala Superiore
Riserva Targa Riserva 1840 ages for at least 7 years in cask followed by at
least 6 months of aging in bottle. |
