Score: ✧✧✧✧✭ |
This Passito di Pantelleria shows a brilliant amber yellow color and
nuances of amber yellow, transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean,
pleasing, refined and elegant aromas that start with hints of raisin, honey
and lavender followed by aromas of almond, dried apricot, peach jam, date,
candied fruits, orange marmalade, vanilla and nail polish. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a sweet attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of raisin, dried apricot and dried fig. This
Passito di Pantelleria ages for 5 months in steel tanks followed by 8
months of aging in barrique. |
