Evien 2011
(Piedmont)
Moscato Bianco
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Evien shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of greenish yellow, very
transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing and refined aromas
that start with hints of grape, pear and peach followed by aromas of white
rose, bergamot, apple, plum, sage and lavender. The mouth has good
correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by alcohol,
good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent
with flavors of grape, pear and peach. Part of Evien ages in acacia wood
cask. |
