Pinot Grigio Valparadiso 2011
(Veneto)
Pinot Grigio
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Pinot Grigio Valparadiso shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of
greenish yellow, very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean,
pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of apple, citrus fruits
and hawthorn followed by aromas of peach, pear, plum and broom. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of apple, peach and plum. Pinot Grigio Valparadiso
ages in part in steel tanks and in part in cask. |
