Adaileta 2008
(Tuscany)
Chardonnay
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Adaileta shows a brilliant golden yellow color and nuances of golden
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of ripe banana, pear and hazelnut
followed by aromas of citrus fruits, vanilla, hawthorn, apple and plum. The
mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however
balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The
finish is persistent with flavors of plum, pear and hazelnut. Adaileta
ferments and ages in barrique for 9 months followed by at least 3 months of
aging in bottle. |
