moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of black cherry, prune and dried
violet followed by aromas of raspberry, blueberry, vanilla, tobacco,
cinnamon, chocolate and menthol. The mouth has good correspondence to the
nose, a properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors
of black cherry, prune and blueberry. Palazzo Altesi is produced with a
partial fermentation in carbonic maceration, ages for 14 months in barrique
and for 3 months in bottle. |
