Batàr 2010
(Tuscany)
Chardonnay (50%), Pinot Bianco (50%)
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✧✧ |
Batàr shows an intense golden yellow color and nuances of golden yellow,
very transparent. The nose reveals intense, clean, pleasing, refined and
elegant aromas which star with hints of apple, plum and hazelnut followed
by aromas of pear, hawthorn, vanilla, grapefruit, praline, butter, honey,
acacia and mineral. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp
attack and however balanced by alcohol, full body, intense flavors,
pleasing roundness. The finish is very persistent with long flavors of
apple, plum and banana. Batàr ferments and ages in barrique for 9 months. |
