Occhio a Vento 2011
(Tuscany)
Vermentino
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Occhio a Vento shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of greenish
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas that start with hints of apple, pear and pineapple followed
by aromas of peach, hawthorn, broom, almond and hints of vanilla. The mouth
has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent
with flavors of apple, pear and peach. A small part of Occhio a Vento
ferments in barrique. This wine ages in steel tanks. |
