Score: ✧✧✧✧ |
Chianti Classico Riserva di Fizzano shows a brilliant ruby red color and
nuances of garnet red, little transparency. The nose denotes intense,
clean, pleasing and refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry,
plum and blueberry followed by aromas of violet, black currant, vanilla,
tobacco, chocolate and mace. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose,
a properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body,
intense flavors, agreeable. The finish is persistent with flavors of black
cherry, plum and black currant. A part of Chianti Classico Riserva di
Fizzano ages for about two years in cask and the other in barrique. |
