Langhe (Piedmont) This Langhe Nebbiolo shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red, moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean and pleasing aromas that start with hints of cherry, plum and violet followed by aromas of blueberry, raspberry, rose and hints of vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of cherry, plum and raspberry. This Langhe Nebbiolo ages for 6 months in barrique followed by 6 months of aging in bottle.
