Summertime 2010
(Tuscany)
Sangiovese
|
Red Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Summertime shows a brilliant ruby red color and nuances of ruby red,
moderate transparency. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of black cherry, plum and violet
followed by aromas of blueberry, raspberry, geranium and hints of vanilla.
The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a properly tannic attack
and however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
crispness. The finish is persistent with flavors of black cherry, plum and
raspberry. Summertime ferments in barrique and ages in steel tanks for 12
months. |
