Inzolia (70%), Viognier (30%)

White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Lunario Catarratto shows a pale straw yellow color and nuances of greenish
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of apple, plum and almond followed by
aromas of pear, hawthorn, citrus fruits, vanilla and honey. The mouth has
good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and however balanced by
alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing roundness. The finish is
persistent with flavors of apple, plum and almond. Lunario Catarratto ages
for 6 months in barrique. |
