Masetto Bianco 2011
(Trentino)
Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc
|
White Wine |
Score: ✧✧✧✭ |
Masetto Bianco shows a brilliant straw yellow color and nuances of straw
yellow, very transparent. The nose denotes intense, clean, pleasing and
refined aromas which start with hints of apple, banana and hawthorn
followed by aromas of citrus fruits, pear, peach, plum and hints of
vanilla. The mouth has good correspondence to the nose, a crisp attack and
however balanced by alcohol, good body, intense flavors, pleasing
roundness. The finish is persistent with flavors of apple, banana and pear.
Part of Masetto Bianco ages in steel tanks, whereas the remaining part ages
in cask and barrique. |
